This chronicle is unfinished. Legion2 is still being written — the images below are scenes from a work in progress, and much will yet change before the tale is told.

The Tale

Legion2 is a new game that draws its inspiration from Legion, the 1996 Amiga fantasy strategy game by the Polish studio Gobi Software — long counted among the finest Polish works on the Amiga. Legion2 is neither a re-release nor a straight port, but a fresh telling of that idea, written anew.

The world is a scattering of islands you slowly uncover and shape: read the lie of the land, found and grow cities, bind them with roads and trade-routes, and weigh your dealings with other powers through diplomacy — or settle matters in the field.

The work goes on. This page will grow as new systems awaken, so take everything here as a glimpse of a game still taking shape.

What Is Taking Shape

Island World

An island map you explore and reveal, its varied terrain shaping how your realm may spread.

Cities & Banners

Found cities, raise your colours above them, and grow them into the heart of your dominion.

Roads & Routes

Lay roads and chart trade and travel routes across the isles to bind your holdings together.

Diplomacy

Parley, ally and scheme with rival powers — not every quarrel need end in battle.

The Order System

Issue careful orders to command your hosts and steer your ever-growing domain.

Born of a Classic

A modern strategy game that still carries the spirit of the original Legion.
